Peter first attended Hearsall Baptist Church in 1966, encouraged by the girl later to become his wife, who was a church member. They were married at Hearsall and were blessed with two children.
Training as a chef Peter worked in various hotels and restaurants before becoming senior lecturer in charge of food preparation courses Henley College, Coventry. After taking early retirement from teaching he worked for Severn Trent water until he fully retired in 2005.
Peter says “I thank our Lord for the blessings which I have received in the past and continue to receive. I feel privileged to serve as a deacon in the church which I have been associated with for over 40 years and together with the minister and fellow deacons seek the Lords will for His work in this place.”
