Julia's connection with Hearsall started at about the age of 8 when she was in foster care for a year with the Wheway family who worshipped at Hearsall. Her connection with Hearsall ceased when she went to live with her grandparents in Hillfields. She started school at Hearsall Primary and renewed her connection with Hearsall through the Holiday Bible school for a couple of summers. Julia then went completely away from Church and rebelled against everything. In her late twenties/early thirties, after making a lot of mistakes, Julia realised that something was missing in her life and she returned to Hearsall with her best friend Linda Wallace. Both of them were to make lifelong commitments to following Jesus and were baptised as believers.
Julia is now married to Nick and has three children and two grandchildren. Two of her children are adults and one is still at school.
Julia says "I now know the peace joy and love of our Lord through the fellowship at Hearsall and highly commend him to all."
