Graham is an ex Alfred Herbert apprentice, also employed at Webster and Bennett and on machine tool repair at Alvis for 25 years until closure in 1998.
A keen sportsman, well known in local football circles. Played semi professional football for Coventry City football club in the late fifties until injury curtailed what appeared to be a promising career. Managed local football teams including the Alvis Sunday football team for many years.
Married with a son and 2 grandchildren, Graham came from an Anglican background, but felt a calling to Hearsall Baptist. Was later baptised there and became a church member and now works as a deacon. As well as being part of the fabric committee and the technical group Graham has responsibility for investigating fundraising opportunities.
