Mr Andy Thompson
Andy first discovered Christ whilst running a youth disco at Queens Road Baptist Church in the 1970’s, where he also met his wife. He was baptised at Queens Road and moved to Hearsall on the birth of his son in 1984.
Andy initially trained as an electronics engineer with GEC Telecommunications but left to join the police service where he worked as a constable for thirty years. Following retirement he now works in a small technical services team in Birmingham.
As well as his diaconate duties Andy heads up the Technical Group at Hearsall, who look after all the computers, sound and stage lighting at the church.
Andy is an associate member of the ALD and the ABTT.
